... The All Seeing Eye is a symbol of protection and knowing. The Gypsy elders
believed it was the Third Eye of the World, noticing everything that happens,
with an authority over death, rebirth and immortality...
This is a hand-embroidered All-Seeing-Eye set into a triangular custom-made birch wood
pendant. The Eye is stitched in beautiful detail in very fine, hand dyed silk, with hand-dyed
rainbow rays radiating from it. The piece is worked on to fine vintage cotton,
which has been lightly dyed using organic tea, giving a lovely, antiqued
mottle.

This embroidery has been worked in satin stitch,
split stitch and back stitch, and as a made-to-order piece, you have custom
options available to you; I can provide a true rainbow of hand-dyed thread for
the rays of light in this design, and if you prefer a different colour eye to
the shades shown, please let me know in the Note to Mother
Eagle when you check out.
It is mounted into a beautiful triangular pendant which has been custom made to
my specifications. It completely encloses the embroidery, in sturdy but light-weight
and sustainably sourced birch wood.
The wood has been treated in a non-toxic
natural wax by my own hand, and measures 60mm x 42mm
(plus 15mm for the tab and bail) at it's widest points, and is
5mm thick. It has a unique double hanging on an extra-long 32.5”” antique brass finished copper chain. This chain is
of the highest quality - every single link of this chain has been soldered.
This, along with the two bails are lead and nickel free, and
chosen to provide you with a lifetime’s wear.
